10 Things Small Business Owners Should Be Outsourcing

WHAT IS OUTSOURCING?

Outsourcing may seem like a term only used in reference to huge companies with massive factories or call centers overseas. But in the solopreneur and small business realm, it simply means hiring someone (either local or virtual) to take over some of the tasks that, let's face it, you’re overqualified for. You know the ones: those day-to-day tasks that are tedious and time-consuming and can be done by an assistant or someone other than you.

One problem small business owners have when considering using an assistant to outsource to is not knowing what to outsource. I have small business owners and creative entrepreneurs tell me all the time that they'd love to use me (or an assistant in general) but have no idea what they'd even have me do.

Not to worry!

HERE ARE TEN THINGS YOU CAN (AND SHOULD) BE OUTSOURCING TO SOMEONE ELSE:

  7. Invoicing and bookkeeping
  8. Emailing and managing clients
  9. Handling post-production for product businesses
  10. Ordering supplies, packaging your products and shipping

So, what on that list are you still doing for your business? Let me know in the comments or send me a message. I'd love to know how I can help you!
